Canada's Future is Bright! Report from Forum for Young Canadians

St. Peters is very proud to have helped sponsor Lokman Wong at the Forum for Young Canadians. Lokman presentation to Council last week was amazing. The following is a brief recap of her trip:

From March 18 to 23, I attended Forum for Young Canadians in Ottawa, a program focused on exposing youth from across Canada to politics. Though it was a cold and sleepless week, meals, laughs, and memories were shared as we learned about federal politics, with the chance to watch Question Period and other experiences, were given opportunities to speak in the House of Commons, and listened to inspiring speakers, especially the Honourable Senator Yonah Martin. These five unforgettable days will forever remain with me, as well as the connections and friendships that were made. I highly recommend this program to youth aged 15-19 who have an interest in politics!
