We are delighted to have you join us for worship. If you are wondering what to expect when you are with us, you will notice that we are a liturgical community. This means we are a part of the catholic tradition in which Eucharist and baptism are a central part of our life. Being a liturgical community also reminds of the ways in which we encounter God’s love in the life of the church; namely through the sacraments, the Scriptures, our relationship with the world and our relationships with one another, to name but a few.
Most or our services are usually one hour and fifteen minutes or less. As children play an active part in the life of our parish, we encourage children to ‘be themselves’ in all areas of our worship. We also have a special time with them at the beginning of our worship, and then they make their way to our Sunday School Program.
We also encourage those who join us to be casual in what we wear, or to wear what you are most comfortable in. Even though we may have come from a tradition to dress formally for church, and for special services such as weddings and funerals, we make a point knowing the importance of coming as we are so that we can be touched by God on the inside.
